Am I my sister's Keeper?

As soon as healing takes place, go out and heal somebody else
Maya Angelou

I am not free until all of my sister are free. No one is healed until all women are healed. This is our moral responsibility for one another. Many of us hold on to our pain afraid to reveal it. We are ashamed of what someone may think or say.instead we should boast all the more gladly about our weaknesses, so that God will get the glory. and someone else can be encouraged to go on. life is a big cycle. The things that we go through someone else has already been through, and been delivered from.

Others hold on to healing information because they feel as if it is their own.
these are selfish people, They feel if they found a way out so should everyone else.
It saddens me that we will fight for gay right, but will not fight to save the young black oppressed sister.

We owe it to ourselves and the world to see that all people live pain free. It is a must that we share what we know in efforts to help someone else. after all you never know when you will be on the receiving end.

Remember everyone needs help sometimes. Share your testimonies and wealth of knowledge so that some one else can live in peace.

God is good!

Seek God not a man!

A woman’s heart should be so hidden in Christ, that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.” Maya Angelou.
Yes, all of our hearts long to be hidden in someone who will love, protect and cherish us for who we are and what we desire to become. But more often than not we set our sites on hiding in a man to only end in broken hearts, consuming emptiness and wasted time. I have made this mistake more times than I can count. Yes, I have always had a relationship with God. I can quote scripture, I sing in the choir, I have been active in several different ministries, and I can even give my testimony on how He has changed my life.

But there is one thing I have never let go of… I have never let him have the driver seat on this marriage thing. If you know me you know I am a hopeless romantic, and being married with children has always been a top priority as long as I can remember. . I have tried so hard to do this relationship thing my way. And I have failed miserably.

My problem is instead of seeking God I was seeking a man. God is a jealous God (exodus 34:14) and he doesn’t want anything or anyone to come before him. And I have put a man before God in hopes to have a husband.

I have sinned against God in relationships in hopes to gain love from a man, by way of premarital sex and shacking up. But no more!

Today I choose to seek God. A man that has never failed me. He as never lied, cheated, abused, or made me feel less that I was. He has only given me unchanging love and support.

Lord,

I trust you father, you are the potter and I am the clay. Lord you know that I desire a husband, however I can honestly say today that I want to be closer to you more!
Lord, I need you to fill this empty heart of mine and mend the shattered pieces.
Father have your way with me. Make me into a woman that is pleasing to you. Lord I want to be married, but if that is not what is in your plan. I will accept it.
You have been so good to me. I have been blessed more than I could have ever imagined!
Lord I am making a new commitment to you. As a deer pants for streams of water that the way I want to long for you.
In Jesus name
Amen

I AM LOVE ARE YOU?

Deep with in us is a place called love! This place if filled with peace, joy and pure happiness. In this place we manufacture ways to love, help and give to others. However this place never make love for oneself. we do things for others that we would never do for ourselves. We give to other what we think we don't deserve. We turn to other for love and validation when we should reach deep within. we are love from the core of our being. It is an energy that we inherited at conception. We breath love. We see love. We love our being in love. Why can't we love ourselves the way we love others? If we can live from our place called love, we can't help but attact more of what we are. LOve is what I am what are you?

Focus!!!

I am truly thankful for the adversity that I have had to face over the years. It has taught me focus, discipline, tolerance, perseverance and some other virtues I may have never known.

I find myself often listening to friends and loved ones about the things that they are dealing with in life and I often feel so bad for them because they are to often focused on the battle with no goal or plan insight. I am just as guilty as they are. :) It amazes my how the devil causes confusion.
It is really easy to lose focus of ones goal if we do not have a plan. Life is not easy. There will always be stumbling blocks, mountain and hills to climb, but one must keep clear view of their goals and divine purpose.

The best way to make sure that we make it through our battles is to focus on the out come, not the current situation. Think about President Obama, entering the race for president, He had everything going against him… but he had a plan!!!! He got a grass roots campaign together and worked his plan. He had a clear vision as to what he wanted to accomplish. Despite the racial slurs, death threats and elitist comment He focused on his goals!

Focus crystallizes and directs the powerful energy of your mind. Focus galvanizes the mental emotional and physical energy to such an exact degree that our efforts cannot miss the mark. When we focus on our goal instead of the battle we ensure our victory! We should never spend of our time worrying about “the enemy”. (Because they will always be up to something) If we focus our thoughts, take positive steps, we may stumble, but we will not fall. Focus is what made president Obama Victorious, Focus is what gives the elk grace, focus is what gives the gazelle speed! Focus is what will give you what ever you desire!

Remain focused and prayful in the midest of your battle and keep your eye on the prize!!!

Peace and blessings

The Good life!

DO YOU KNOW WHY PEOPLE LOVE CHILDREN?
It's because children have pure hearts. They do, say, think what they feel, without worrying about what others think. You know why you love me (yeah, I know you do) it's because I have a child's heart. They haven't let the disease "ADULTHOOD" adulterate their hearts and minds. think about it. when was the last time you've seen racist, hateful kindergarteners? When was the last time a preschooler gave you an evil eye. It's because children don't . we need to learn how to think and behave like children, so to speak.

everyone has heartaches and pains. These come naturally. we should take each and every moment to enjoy life the best way we can. If it doesn't hurt anyone, and it makes you happy and you can afford it, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??

I think people fear the judgement and thoughts of others too much. An example of something I love to do is: While at the grocery store, in an empty aisle, get a good amount of momentum and stand up on the cart, like riding it almost lol. It's fun and it brings joy to my heart. I absolutely love it. If someone sees me... SO? Those are things children like to do, so I feel honored to be able to take part in something that a well respected group of people [children] like to do!! Next time you do something free spirited, thank your childhood.

This morning I woke up and did exactly what I wanted to do and I feel great about it. Now I'm about to continue on and do somehting else that I want to do: Nothing!

More Than Conquerors

Hello my friend!

Today's word is one that I hold dear to my heart! It shows how awesome God's grace is.
The wonderful thing about our father is no matter what we have done he will always except us! I am so thankful that God isn't like man!

This is also a verse that is used often in the "once saved always saved" debate.

Romans 8: 38-39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Proverbs 16:28

I'm baaaaaack!

How many of you have lost friends because of gossip?
Well... I have! I lost my best friend because of something that I supposedly said!
In all honesty it really hurt to lose her, but with time all wounds heal!!!

Word of the day!

A Perverse man stirs up dissension and a gossip separates close friends!

for Him

The New Guy

He came so quietly

like a soft breeze

like a warm whisper.

He is so much like me.

He slipped into my head

and began to turn the pages.

This Guy is the truth, and so amazing.

His smile makes me smile.

His jokes are so surreal

Wow.... Chasiti could this be real???

He is the truth. he is so real, and i love the way that

he makes me feel. And if I am a reflection of him

I must be fly!!!

Don't be fooled into looking to the arms of flesh for healings that come only from the arms of God. If you choose to marry, don't marry out of what you need. Marry out of the abundance of what you have to offer. When 2 people enter into a relationship for what they can receive , they both are disappointed. ~TD Jakes
Too much is given much is required! Luke 12:48

Have you ever wonder why people hold you to a higher standard? Do you ever feel like some people can get away with murder and you can’t get away with telling a little white lie?  The simple answer to this is you are a child of God and he has called to a higher standard. You are Magnificent and He wants what is best for you! There are just certain things that we can’t do. You see we see ourselves like everyone else, but we must remember that we are not like everyone else. We are Kings and Queens dwelling on this earth.

For example think if President Obama was on facebook posting how drunk he was at the platinum last night. We would be ashamed to say we voted for him as our president because we hold him to a higher standard. That is the same standard that we as children of God should hold ourselves and friends to. Unfortunately we don’t see ourselves as being on the same level as President Obama. We see ourselves as everyone else!

I know that I have been wrong so many times, but I continue to love and forgive.
I ask myself often why do I forgive people, but I guess it is the God in me.
I realize that I am a Christian and God has shown me grace and mercy and therefore I have to do the same. God doesn’t keep record of my wrongs so who am I to keep record of anyone else’s. God has blessed me and you. He gives us chance after chance so what right do we have to not give a second chance!

Peace and blessings!

HERCULES

Every women wants a Hercules. I received a text message today stating that every woman wants a man to come and save her no matter where she is in life, from the walmart clerk to the district attorney. No matter how badly she has been hurt in the past she will let those emotional walls down. I completely agree with the text. after all it has happen to me. I am a woman who desires a husband. I actually want to be a help mate. And every time i give up on love i catch myself letting my emotional walls down, yet again. I truly believe that is what make a woman so special, the desire to love and forgive.

through my studies I have gathered It is innate for a woman to desire a man; after all it is in the bible. After Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, God told Eve"I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." (genesis 3-16)that tells us that we will desire a husband. So ladies, don't ever apologize for wanting to be married and wanting your Hercules. Now don't every force the issue, but is is always OK to hope for Hercules.
remember that Adam named Eve, he validated who she was and we as women are looking for our Hercules to validate who we are.

As a little girl I remember movies like: Cinderella, Snow white and Pocahontas. The one thing that all of the movies share is the princess being rescued by the prince. This is something that women desires at an early age. Yes it is 2010 and most women can pay their own bills, But the little girl in her always want her Hercules to come and rescue her so they can live happily ever after.

Spring cleaning

Spring Cleaning!

I have spent much of my life focused on things that have no value such as; how others view me and my actions. I have learned that some people are just unhappy and love to criticize and scrutinize others. I was talking to a good friend of mine and she said; she was talking to someone about my spirituality and the person couldn't believe that I was spiritual. The amazing thing about this person is we have never held a conversation. It kills me how people like to judge! Just because I am well dressed and like nice things that doesn’t mean that I am not a Christian

I know I have not lived a perfect life, but who has?!?! I think it is important to concern yourself with other, but never at the expense of your happiness and sanity.
So, today I am throwing out all negativity, including negative people! Proverbs 22: 24-25 says, 'Don't make friends with Hot tempered men, do not associate with one who is easily angered, or you will learn his ways and get yourself ensnared. If you are around negativity it is so easy to be consumed with it. So it’s in our best interest to let miserable people be!

I am surrounding myself with positive people who love life and uplifting. I challenge you to do the same.
