I am truly thankful for the adversity that I have had to face over the years. It has taught me focus, discipline, tolerance, perseverance and some other virtues I may have never known.
I find myself often listening to friends and loved ones about the things that they are dealing with in life and I often feel so bad for them because they are to often focused on the battle with no goal or plan insight. I am just as guilty as they are. :) It amazes my how the devil causes confusion.
It is really easy to lose focus of ones goal if we do not have a plan. Life is not easy. There will always be stumbling blocks, mountain and hills to climb, but one must keep clear view of their goals and divine purpose.
The best way to make sure that we make it through our battles is to focus on the out come, not the current situation. Think about President Obama, entering the race for president, He had everything going against him… but he had a plan!!!! He got a grass roots campaign together and worked his plan. He had a clear vision as to what he wanted to accomplish. Despite the racial slurs, death threats and elitist comment He focused on his goals!
Focus crystallizes and directs the powerful energy of your mind. Focus galvanizes the mental emotional and physical energy to such an exact degree that our efforts cannot miss the mark. When we focus on our goal instead of the battle we ensure our victory! We should never spend of our time worrying about “the enemy”. (Because they will always be up to something) If we focus our thoughts, take positive steps, we may stumble, but we will not fall. Focus is what made president Obama Victorious, Focus is what gives the elk grace, focus is what gives the gazelle speed! Focus is what will give you what ever you desire!
Remain focused and prayful in the midest of your battle and keep your eye on the prize!!!

It's so true bc what were wrapped up in appears to be so hard that we forget that God send us though these things to get us where he needs us to be more importantly so that we can FOCUS on him. Even w/the 3 Hebrew boys they were thrown in the fire but not only walked out unharmed & a decree of defense but w/the King giving them a promotion in the province of babylon. Even James 1:2-4 says Consider it pure joy when we face trials bc the testing of ur faith develops perseverence and it must finish its work so we may be mature and complete not lacking anything!We cant forget theres a reward for endurance and in order to endure we must focus. This really opened my eyes to focus better than what i have been so i can get what God has for me.

It's that in everything we do we focus on what we want and set goals to get there. for example: if i want to be married its important for me to not focus on not being married, but to prepare myself to be a suitable help mate! Keep the focus and stay encouraged! God is good!
Ur right! But its no use in setting goal if ur not gonna stay focused on geeting to the goal! I think sumtimes God calls for us to redirect our focus not only on him but it relook at the situation at hand. There are jus certain things and even people that we need to cut out our lives bc there not helpful in our trial. And from experience when u cut sum things/people out God often puts u in a better situation but i think also sometimes he lets us sit inour mess bc we either put up with it or created it jus to teach us a lesson. Still remember that the trail/hard time actually strengthens us for the next challenge. We have to let go and let God. And they even help use to stay tied up in the problem longer than what we should which can lead to use being unfocsued o the goal we have set.

If u stay focused things/people will leave ur life or take a back seat anyway. But like u said the key is to be focused!
