Ok... so you guys know that I am on a quest to lose 20lbs before July 1, my 30th birthday! woohooo! Because I love to eat, certain diets just will not work for me. I can't substiute any meals for bars, cereal, smoothies or anything of the such. I need sustenance! I am strong believer that if the weight comes off fast it will come back faster. That is why I am allow myself 6 months to lose the weight.
So a while a back I spoke with a personal trainer who recommended that i get a book by Jackie Warner, THIS IS WHY YOU'RE FAT! This book is a life changer! It show you how to eat without depriving yourself. The first two weeks of the diet you can eat whatever you want. Yeah, whatever you want...you just have to incorporate certain things. She calls the first 2 weeks Add to lose.
You add fat-burning foods such as eggs, veggies, fruits and whey protein and you continue to eat your fried chicken and cheap Chinese!:) The first time i did this i lost 6 pound, but due to Thanksgiving and Christmas I gained it all back +2. lol :(
The next phase is called "Clean Eating". "Eating Clean" means eating foods that burn fat, build lean muscle, balance your hormones and detoxes your body. In this portion you"Eat clean" for 5 days and eat what you want for 2 days! This is ideal for me. On the weekends i spend alot of time at Tim's parent house, there is sooo much temptation over there.
She also incorporate a great work out plan, but I have decided to do my own.
I doing cardio 2 days a week, weights 1 day and strength training 1 day. This process is not going to be easy, but I am all about making this happen!
