Today is a day of pride. All American should feel a since of gratitude to Dr. King for his contributions to our country. I am proud to be an African American. It feels good to be apart of a lineage as such. As I reflect I remind myself of all the things that we have accomplished and over come. We have come from slavery to the White House... not only did we build the White House we now live in it. God has truly been good to us. Look at all of the talent we posses: Lee Archer, Rudolph Belisle, Adolpho Birch, Carmen DE Lavallade, John Johnson, Rosa Parks, Corretta Scott King and Dr. Martin Luther King Just to name a few. We should be proud of who we are. And we should realize that we need each other to get where we want to go! :)
